Valentine’s Day Disasters
Not everyone has a good Valentine’s Day, and the gift that you give can make or break it. Don’t buy a stuffed animal for a woman unless she collects them. It just shows that you didn’t bother to plan. Also, don’t buy lingerie unless you know what she likes to wear, not just what you want to see her in.
It’s better to steer clear of clothing of any kind. Watch what kind of card you get her, too, because they can say a lot of different things. Take time to read them and get one that’s appropriate so you don’t cause a problem later.
Even if she really needs that new vacuum cleaner or toaster, don’t buy it for Valentine’s Day. It’s way too unromantic.
Avoid ‘I love you’ keychains unless you’re asking the person to move in with you and there’s a key attached. Also, don’t buy jewelry in a ring-sized box unless it’s a ring and you really want to give it to her. It can be misleading and depressing for a woman to expect a ring based on the box and not get it.
