Make it a Valentine’s Day to Remember
If you have a significant other you probably want Valentine’s Day to be memorable. Sometimes you have trouble coming up with good ideas for that, though, and you’re at a loss as to what kinds of things you can do.
Making a Valentine’s Day memorable isn’t as hard as you think with a few simple ideas. If you plan early you can have a better Valentine’s Day because the restaurants won’t be booked and you’ll have some time to think about what you might want to do. Even if you’re a procrastinator and wait until the last minute, you can still do something great. Maybe there’s a movie that you’ve been wanting to see and that you can rent. Perhaps it’s time for a picnic or a walk in the park or on the beach. If the restaurants are booked get your favorite takeout, light some candles, and put on some romantic music. Dance in the living room.
Valentine’s Day doesn’t always have to be about expensive gifts. It should be about just being together and enjoying the fact that you love each other. You can’t put a price on that.

last year, i had 2 canvas prints made from http://www.canvaspress.com and went to Michael’s craft store for acrylic paint. we had the best time sitting on our back deck painting over a picture from the night we met and drinking merlot.
it was so nice to break up the dinner and a movie cliche tradition we had fallen into. we hung our masterpieces in our hall so daily i am reminded of the date.
