5 Most Romantic Movies

What’s better on Valentine’s Day than to see a romantic movie? There are many out there, but here are the top five most romantic movie choices.

1. Casablanca – who could forget Bogie and Bergman? The sacrificing of romance for the greater good may make you wonder what they were thinking, but they’ll always have Paris. It’s a timeless love story and a classic.

2. Lost in Translation – An older movie star and a neglected newlywed seem like an unlikely match, but they make it work, and when he says goodbye to her in the end and whispers his farewell, the mystery of what he might have said to her only adds to the romance.

3. Roman Holiday – Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn. How could anyone resist both the great comedy moments and the bittersweet love of this on-screen duo?

4. From Here to Eternity – Another classic with Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr. The waves crashing over them on the beach is one of those scenes that sticks in cinematic history.

5. When Harry Met Sally – Despite the somewhat showy and embarrassing scene in the deli this movie is pure romance all the way.
